The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETC) at Zeal College of Engineering and Research was established in 2007 with the vision to provide cutting-edge education and produce skilled professionals in the field of electronics and telecommunication. Our department is committed to providing students with the necessary tools to succeed in a competitive industry and grow as innovators, leaders, and researchers. We focus on providing state-of-the-art teaching, learning facilities, and a holistic environment for personal and academic growth.
Our department is equipped with world-class teaching and learning resources for undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. research students. We are fortunate to have a team of dedicated, experienced, and highly qualified faculty members who ensure the delivery of high-quality education. The faculty members are not only experienced but also continually engage in research and skill enhancement programs to stay updated with the latest developments in their respective fields.
The department boasts well-equipped laboratories, including high-grade labs for industry testing and measurement, allowing students to develop hands-on skills essential for the industry. Our computer labs are set up with high-end computing systems and the latest software, providing an ideal environment for students to practice their knowledge and learn the latest technologies. The classrooms are designed to offer both conventional and ICT facilities, enabling an interactive and dynamic learning experience.
An integral part of our teaching process is the Guardian Faculty Member system, where each faculty member takes personal responsibility for the overall development of a group of students, both academically and personally. This system ensures that students receive individualized attention and mentorship throughout their academic journey.
To enhance the employability skills of our students, we provide hands-on training in the latest technologies, giving them the practical experience necessary for success in the industry. Our faculty and staff are also regularly involved in knowledge and educational up gradation programs to further improve the quality of education provided in the department.
We ensure continuous exposure to the real-world applications of their studies through various activities such as workshops, conferences, expert lectures, industrial visits, and industry-sponsored projects. These initiatives give students valuable insights into industry trends, help them network with professionals, and equip them with the practical skills needed for a successful career.
The department also emphasizes the development of soft skills and holistic growth. We offer specialized sessions in training and placement, aptitude classes, communication skills, personality development programs, and foreign language coaching. These extracurricular activities complement the academic curriculum and prepare our students for leadership roles in the professional world.
Our department provides multiple platforms for student participation and achievements in curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities, which foster creativity, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Students are encouraged to participate in various events, competitions, and technical festivals that showcase their skills and talent.
The Excellence Centre for Innovative Projects is a unique feature of our department, offering a space for students to work on real-world projects and gain practical experience. The centre includes specialized labs like:
- PCB Design & Development Centre – for designing and developing printed circuit boards used in electronics systems.
- Cyborg Club – for students interested in robotics, automation, and machine learning, where they can create innovative solutions.
- E-yantra Lab – a dedicated space for research and development in embedded systems, IoT, and robotic technologies.
The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at Zeal College of Engineering and Research is committed to providing an enriching and stimulating learning environment that prepares students for successful careers in the fast-evolving field of electronics and telecommunication. Through our state-of-the-art facilities, experienced faculty, and hands-on learning approach, we ensure our students graduate as competent professionals ready to make a significant impact in the industry.
