A. Overview:

The Department of Electrical Engineering of ZES, ZCOER in collaboration with Tata Strive has organized an Orientation Session on Online learning platform for Students on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Bajaj Manufacturing Systems (BMS), on 02/04/2026 for all SY,T.E and B.E. aspirant graduates.

Orientation session is intended for SY,T.E. and B.E. aspiring engineers who seek to understand the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) & Bajaj Manufacturing Systems (BMS).  Bajaj was recently awarded as the global leader in their manufacturing systems & TPM. As part of their CSR initiative, they are conducting a drive to educate students on the TPM and BMS to all engineering college students free of cost. Students need to complete the modules of two courses :

Certification Programme (CP) – ~ 10 hrs and then go for Advanced Certification Programme (ACP) ~ 10 Hrs.

Each module will provide a certificate which is recognised all over the industry. This will open many opportunities for Students and ZCOER mentioned below.

B. Objective:

The main objective of this session was to:

  1. Understand the usage of online learning platform
  2. Help student understand the course modules
  3. Certification and its importance
  4. Future Opportunities in the partnership

C. Highlights of the Expert Lecture:

  1. Total 3 sessions were arranged for students of SY,TE and BE successively of 45 minutes each.
  2. Amit Upadhyay introduced the objectives of the session & introduced Mr Revannath Kharat to students and faculties.
  3. The entire session was very interactive and the students have understood the career opportunities ahead.
  4. Students understood importance of certification and needs and expectations in the industry
  5. Students felt very connected and engaged throughout the session
  6. Session was concluded by question answers & vote of thanks by Mr Amit Upadhyay.
