Overview:

An alumni guidance session on “How to Crack Competitive Exams” was conducted for FY B. Tech students, Department of Electrical Engineering by Mr. Shubham Kadam, Traction Power Controller in Pune Metro. He emphasized the importance of building strong fundamentals, maintaining consistency, and starting preparation early. He also guided students on study habits, time management, and understanding exam patterns. The session was motivational and provided students with clear direction for future competitive exam preparation.

Objectives: 

1. To create early awareness among FY B. Tech students about various competitive examinations such as GATE, ESE, BARC, DRDO, SSC JE, CDS, and other government opportunities for recruitment.
2. To guide students on building a strong foundation in basic subjects for future exam preparation.
3. To develop effective study habits, time management, and a disciplined approach toward learning.
4. To motivate students through real-life experiences shared by the alumni.
5. To provide a clear direction for planning and preparing for competitive exams from the first year itself.
