Skill Development Workshop on Finite Element Analysis (FEA – ANSYS) was successfully conducted at our college campus on 23rd and 24th September 2015.
Mr. Ketan Pol, CAE Engineer, has first introduced the audience with basic concept of Finite Element Method. He then briefly discussed need for Finite Element Analysis. He also presented some problems using ANSYS software that outlined importance and benefits of Finite Element Analysis in industries. At the end, he guided students for future prospects in Computer Aided Engineering sector.
It was a great Workshop where 50 students participated. That program was coordinated by Prof. Petkar R. K. under the guidance and support of Prof. Aldar B. D. (HOD, Mechanical Engineering Department, II-SHIFT) and staff of Mechanical Engineering Department. The Program was organised by ZEAL-CAE in association with CAT-I DESIGN SOLUTIONS.
