It is with profound pleasure, humility and anticipation, I, Prof. Shivaji K. Maknikar, would like to extend a very warm welcome to ISHRAE Students Chapter of Zeal College of Engineering and Research, Pune. This student’s chapter was inaugurated on an auspicious day 15^th Sept, 2022 which was also celebrated as Engineers Day. More than 40 students have been enrolled and actively participating in this chapter.

The purpose of an ISHRAE student chapter is to get more students interested, concerned, and involved in pursuing a career in the field of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration. ISHRAE student chapter activities are administered by students as elected officers which provide students with an experience that simulates running a business or an organization.

By networking with your local ISHRAE Chapter, students will have an opportunity to meet practicing engineers in the HVAC industry. Students will get involved in one of the students activities such as ACREX Quiz, National Student Design Competition, Technical Paper Presentation etc, which will be one of the most memorable experiences for the students. In addition to having fun and meeting great friends, these competitions provide an exceptional engineering experience and allow the students to apply your course work in a real world application.

The motto behind the installation of ISHRAE students Chapter is to provide a concrete platform for an overall development of students in planning, organizing, and improving the skillset to uplift their knowledge in the field of technology.

Once again I welcome you to this student’s chapter! With an eternal support from students, faculty members, HOD, Principal and Management of Zeal Education Society, I see very bright prospects for this student’s chapter in the years to come. Ultimately, we will improve more lives and, consequently, our communities.
