ETHOS, the student association of the institute, successfully organized Engineer’s Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sir M. Visvesvaraya, one of India’s greatest engineers and visionaries. The event was conducted on 15th September at the college campus with active participation from students and faculty members.
The program began with a brief inaugural session, where the importance of Engineer’s Day and the contributions of Sir M. Visvesvaraya to nation-building were highlighted. The speakers emphasized the role of engineers in solving real-world problems through innovation, ethics, and sustainable development.
Faculty members addressed the students and shared their insights on the evolving role of engineers in the era of digital transformation and emerging technologies. Their motivational words inspired students to uphold professional ethics and continuously enhance their technical competence.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of ETHOS members, volunteers, faculty coordinators, and participants for their support and enthusiastic involvement. Overall, the Engineer’s Day celebration organized by ETHOS was a successful and enriching event that motivated students to embrace innovation and contribute responsibly to society as future engineers.
