As a part of industrial visit of Pune University curriculum for the subject Turbomachinery, we had successfully visited Panshet Dam Hydraulic Power Plant, Panshet, Pune on 06th November 2024.

This was good opportunity for the students to interact with experts and understanding the practical knowledge of engineering. The students be aware of Hydraulic Power Plant concept during the visit. Total twenty-three (23) final year students (B.E. A division) were presents for this visit.

This industrial visit was very useful for the students and teachers from knowledge point of view. The details of Outcomes of visit are as follows.

1) Understand the procedure of Hydraulic Power plant
2) Understand the layout of Plant
3) To understand the method of Power generation
4) To understand safety requirement during procedure.
