Teacher’s Day Celebration

We celebrate Teachers’ day every year throughout the country on 5th September. Students express their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers on this day. This day is dedicated to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan – second President of India. The great academic philosopher, and one of the most well known diplomats, scholar, president of India and a great teacher. As a tribute to this great teacher, his birthday has been celebrated as teachers’ day.

An event of Teacher’s Day-2018 was organized at our E&TC department. The program was planned by ETHOS Forum & Prof. Snehal Banarase ETHOS staff coordinator guided us about the event planning. At the beginning of the day, we had arranged teaching sessions conducted by some of TE & BE students. The duration of lectures was half hour for each subject. 12 students had taken efforts to teach all SE, TE and BE students managed the teaching well. Our motto behind this was to make our teachers feel happy and special on their special day.

At afternoon we had arranged a short program for all our respected and lovable teachers. All SE, TE and BE students and all faculties were present. Program was started with lighting of lamp by HOD of E&TC Dr. S.D.Shirbahaddurkar sir, PG coordinator Prof. Prajakta More and Professor Dr. A. N. Gaikwad sir. We students felicitated and given a token of love to these three honorable Teachers. Later they have delivered their valuable words on behalf of Teacher’s day. Then we have given a little token of love to all our teachers by some of students seated in attendees. After that teachers were invited to play some games. Everyone had enjoyed a lot. In this way an event of teacher’s day had successfully celebrated.
