Summary:
The workshop, led by Assistant Professor A V Karande, was designed to achieve the following objectives:
- Educational Learning: To impart basic knowledge of engine components and functioning.
- Safety Awareness: To emphasize safety precautions and the correct usage of tools and equipment. Hands-On Experience: To provide practical experience in engine disassembly and assembly.
- Problem-solving skills: To enhance participants’ ability to troubleshoot engine issues.
The training was planned for Second-year mechanical engineering students which started on 10/03/2023. One-day training was conducted for each division which includes 20 students. a one-day workshop on Engine Assembly & Disassembly was conducted at the Zeal Engineering College of Engineering and Research, Narhe, Pune Heat Engine Laboratory. The workshop aimed to provide students of with practical insights into internal combustion engines, enhancing their understanding of engine mechanics and safety protocols This program was conducted by Prof. Karande A V in the guidance of the HOD Mechanical Engineering Department at the Machining Excellence Center of Zeal College of Engineering and Research Pune.
