Line o-mania

Venue– Robotics and automation Department, (B308)(B303),

Participants- Robotics and automation 2nd Year Students 50 Teams

Objective: – Students engaged in Project-Based Learning by solving problems through trial and error. This hands-on approach helped them make hardware compatible to address real-life challenges. The Line-o-mania event exemplified this method, enabling students to learn practically, enhance problem-solving skills, and gain valuable experience.

Inauguration: – The inauguration was conducted by Prof. Yogesh Ingole, Head of the Department of Robotics and Automation. The ceremony commenced with a prayer to Goddess Saraswati, followed by the traditional lighting of the diya.

Robotics Lab 1:

  • Assigned to teams with odd-numbered tokens.
  • Coordinated by TE students Aniket Nagare and Dhananjay Dhude.
  • Responsibilities included guiding participants, ensuring smooth execution of tasks, and managing event flow within the lab.
  • Supported by First-Year (FY) students who assisted in handling logistics and helping participants during the event.

Robotics Lab 2:

  • Assigned to teams with even-numbered tokens.
  • Conducted by TE students Suyash Devertase and Swayam Pancholi.
  • Responsibilities included supervising the competition, maintaining discipline, and coordinating technical requirements.
  • Supported by First-Year (FY) students who provided assistance to participants and helped in organizing each stage of the event

Result:

Prize 1: Path Fusion, Leader: – Saidatta Gundu

Prize 2: Team Spirit, Leader: – Amar Ghadge

Prize 3: Short Circuit, Leader: – Shaksham Gulaskar

Conclusion: The Line-o-mania event was successfully organized across two robotics laboratories with clear coordination and support. BE and TE students led the management of each lab, while FY students assisted, ensuring smooth execution. The structured division of teams and responsibilities contributed to the event’s effective and engaging outcome
