Department of Robotics and Automation Engineering Department had organized industrial visit at the TATA Auto Comp Systems Pvt. Ltd. on 24th March 2025 to give practical exposure to students about industrial automation in plastic fabrication & assembly, various industrial welding (Spot welding), Clamping Fixtures, Human Machine Interface to give extra-curriculum and co-curriculum knowledge in the field of automation and manufacturing of plastic fabrication.

Total 38 students of TE-A Robotics and Automation students and 1 faculty visited TATA Auto Comp Systems Pvt. Ltd., Plot No. C2, Ranjangaon MIDC, Taluka Shirur, Pune-412220. During the visit students and faculties interacted with company project manager and various engineers regarding the working of various projects done by company, and regarding future job opportunity. Students saw all the facilities like various kinds of automated welding used for plastic components like ultrasonic welding and spot welding, and use of HMI, and various management techniques like Poka-Yoke. Students had various interactive sessions on the different workstations.
