Industrial Visit to Minilec India Pvt Ltd, Pirangut, Pune

Students of ECE have successfully organized a Visit to Minilec India Pvt Ltd, Pirangut, Pune. For our students of SE on 02th October 2024. The excursion was organized with the aim of providing students with insights into manufacturing of electronic components along with testing and mounting of different electronic components and innovation in industrial automation. Below is an overview of the visit:

1. Purpose and Objectives:

  • The primary objective of the visit was to educate students about the Industrial Automation, including its significance, technological advancements, and career opportunities.
  • We aimed to enhance students’ understanding of Core electronics in Industry.

2. Event Overview:

Minilec offers the widest line of Motor & Pump Protection relays, Annunciators, liquid controller, Transducers, automation and more products. It is leading innovator in the production of electronic components, located at Pirangut MIDC area, Pune.

Student Experience:

  • The students were accompanied by faculty members and guided through the visit at Minilec Company, where they had the opportunity to explore different exhibits and interact with industry persons.
  • They were particularly fascinated by the displays of a smart video demonstration of Technolocal growth of Minilec.
  • Students actively engaged in discussions with Industry guide from Minilec about the floor plan activities.

3. Learning Outcomes:

  • The visit provided students with practical insights into the application of science and technology in industrial automation fields.
  • They gained a deeper understanding of complex concepts such as Transformers, Motors, Relays
  • The exposure to real-world innovations and interactions with industry experts enriched their learning experience and broadened their horizons.

  • The visit to the Minilec Company has sparked curiosity among students and stimulated their interest in pursuing careers in core Electronics field.
  • We plan to organize follow-up activities such as guest lectures, workshops, and project-based learning to further nurture students’ interests and skills in these areas.

5. Conclusion:

  • Overall, the student visit to the Minilec Company was highly beneficial and impactful. It provided students with a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the advancements in core Electronics and inspired them to explore future career paths in these fields.
