Introduction:
As part of the Electrical Machines-I course; we visited Amruta Enterprises on 28/01/2025 located at Shivane, Pune 411023. The purpose of this visit was to gain practical knowledge about the design, operation, and testing of Outdoor type three phase solar auxiliary transformer of rating 400 KVA Dyn11. During the visit, we accompanied by Mr. Sunil Karambelkar (Managing Director), who provided valuable insights and explanations about the transformer core design and its components. The visit lasted for 2-3 Hour, during which we had the opportunity to observe the manufacturing of various types of transformer core design like helical type, shell type etc.
Need of visit:
Visiting a transformer manufacturing industry provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge about the manufacturing of Core using CRGO in transformers. During a visit, participants conduct following objectives:
- Observe the various types of core designing and manufacturing of transformers
- An insight view of three phase transformer with various components of transformer assembled at one place
- Testing of transformer oil using Digital Oil Breakdown Voltage tester
