The Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Student Association (AIMSA) of ZEAL College of Engineering & Research, Pune successfully organized a three-day “Hands-On AI & ML Explorer” workshop from 7th to 9th September 2026. The workshop was designed to provide students with practical exposure to the fundamentals and applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).As a part of the programme, Head of the Department, Dr. Dipali K. Shende felicitated the Guest Ms. Shahin Sayyad gesture of appreciation and respect.
The initiative focused on bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical implementation by encouraging students to learn, explore, implement, and innovate in the field of AI and ML.The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of B.Tech, who actively engaged in the practical sessions and explored various aspects of AI and ML. The interactive nature of the programme enabled students to enhance their technical skills while gaining a better understanding of the real-world applications of emerging technologies
By the end of the workshop, participants were able to:
- Develop a basic understanding of AI and Machine Learning
- Work with datasets and understand their practical
- Build and evaluate basic ML
- Gain hands-on experience with Python-based AI/ML
- Explore innovative solutions to real-world
- Strengthen their interest and confidence in emerging AI and ML
The Hands-On AI & ML Explorer workshop was a valuable learning experience for the students, encouraging them to “Learn, Explore, Implement & Innovate” and motivating them to further develop their skills in the rapidly evolving field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
