Description

The Electrical Engineering Department, ZCOER, in collaboration with Symbiosis Skill University, organized a 30-day Electric Vehicle Service Technician Training Programme from 20-01-2026 to 10-02-2026. The programme aimed at imparting practical knowledge and hands-on skills aligned with current industrial requirements in the electric vehicle domain.

The training was conducted by Mr. AmitHajare, who delivered in-depth sessions covering electric vehicle architecture, electric motors, battery systems, battery management systems (BMS), power electronics, charging infrastructure, controllers, wiring systems, and safety protocols. The programme emphasized hands-on training, including EV component identification, fault diagnosis, servicing procedures, and preventive maintenance practices.

Safety aspects related to high-voltage systems, electrical hazards, and standard operating procedures were highlighted throughout the training. The sessions also addressed sustainable mobility and green energy concepts, creating awareness about the role of electric vehicles in reducing environmental impact.
