Snehadhar works for underprivileged girls and ladies in our society. Snehalaya (meaning “Home of Love”) is a not-for-profit organization which provides support for women, children and LGBT communities, who have been affected by HIV and AIDS, trafficking, sexual violence or poverty. Snehalaya was founded by Dr. Girish Kulkarni in Ahmednagar, India, in 1989. Our projects target four prime areas: Awareness, Healthcare, Rehabilitation and Education. One such project, Snehadhar works for girls/ ladies who had to leave home for some reason and are needed to be self-reliant. Snehadhar gives them shelter and helps them in this process.
