Celebration of International Women’s Day

The International Women’s Day celebration took place on 8th March 2025 on the 4th floor of B Building, Room B4-11, Seminar Hall, from 08:30 am to 10:30 am. The event aimed to empower and encourage women by providing valuable self-defense training and martial arts demonstrations. The event featured:

Self-Defense Training & Shivkala (Lathi-Kathi) Demonstration conducted by:

  1. Ms. Asmita Kshirsagar, Student, F.Y. B.Tech, International Gold Medalist, Kata and Fight
  2. Ms. Isha Adhe, Student, S.E., National Gold Medalist, Ash-te-du-akhada

The event commenced with the Defender & Attacker position arrangement for students, engaging in practical demonstrations and learning techniques to enhance their self-defense skills.

The event was conducted in a disciplined manner, and all college protocols were followed. It successfully provided a platform to inspire confidence and raise awareness about self-defense.
