IED Communications Ltd organized India’s biggest and Asia’s 2nd largest exhibition for the automation industry – Automation Expo (www.automationindiaexpo.com). Department of Robotics and Automation Engineering Department had organized an industrial visit at AUTOMATION EXPO 2024 Goregaon, Mumbai on 24th August 2024 to give practical exposure to students about Artificial Intelligence & Automation. Total 61 students and 5 faculties visited in AUTOMATION EXPO 2024, Goregaon, Mumbai. During the visit students and faculties interacted with various industries where instructors from the industry explained working and operations in automation.

The VR headset provides a hands-on experience and the scenarios are created to mimic real life situations. This results in 75%+ retention, 40% less training time and 8X more engagement compared to traditional classroom based approach. TRAINXR is a virtual reality platform created by HyperReality Technologies. It is a VR (Virtual Reality) training platform for assembly, service procedure and safety training in the manufacturing domain.
