Visit to Server Room of Zeal Institute

INTRODUCTION:

The industry/institutional visit were conducted for Third Year (TE) Information Technology students during the Academic Year 2025–26 as a part of the Cloud Computing subject. The visit was organized at the Server Room of Zeal Institute to provide practical exposure to real-time server infrastructure and cloud computing environments. A total of 65 students actively participated in the visit. The session helped students understand the functioning of servers, their role in cloud service delivery, and the practical implementation of concepts covered in the classroom.

OBJECTIVES OF THE VISIT:

  • To provide practical exposure to server infrastructure and cloud computing environments.
  • To understand the role of physical servers in cloud service delivery.
  • To bridge theoretical and practical aspects of cloud computing.

DESCRIPTION OF THE VISIT:

  • As a part of the Cloud Computing subject, Third Year Information Technology students visited the Server Room of Zeal Institute.
  • Students were exposed to server racks, networking devices, storage systems, security mechanisms, and cooling systems.
  • The visit helped students understand real-time infrastructure supporting cloud services.
