Engineers’ Day Celebration was organized by the Computer Engineering Department of Zeal College of Engineering and Research, Narhe, Pune, on 20th September 2025.
The objective of the celebration was to pay tribute to Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, promote engineering excellence, and provide students with exposure to modern engineering skills, industry insights, and hands-on technical activities. The event aimed to foster innovation, a research mindset, teamwork, computational thinking, and professional preparedness among engineering students.

Highlights of the Event:
The Engineers’ Day celebration consisted of three core components:
1. Alumni Expert Interaction & Career Guidance Session
Four alumni were invited as special guests: Mr. Aryan Ayare, Ms. Vaishnavi Jadhav, Mr. Rahul Rale, and Mr. Akash Yadav. They addressed students on:
- How to pursue engineering with correct mindset and discipline
- Industry expectations & required technical + interpersonal skills
- Placement preparation strategies
- Importance of projects, problem-solving, and internships
- Role of coding, communication skills, and continuous learning
This session motivated students to plan their skill roadmap and understand placement structure from real experience.
2. Technical Events & Competitions
Multiple hands-on, creativity-based and AI-driven technical competitions were conducted:
a) Code Cooking Challenge
- AI-assisted coding challenge where participants were required to create functional code using logic, accuracy, and AI tools support
- Focused on: problem solving + tool-based development skills
b) Prompt Engineering Competition
- Students were given problem statements requiring AI prompt writing to generate optimized, relevant, and accurate output
- Focused on: prompt design, creativity, instruction clarity, and AI usage efficiency
c) Technical Poster Presentation
- Students created and presented technical posters based on innovative engineering ideas, future technologies, research concepts, and problem-solving applications
- Encouraged creativity, design thinking, and communication skills
Across all events, 3 winners were selected based on performance, creativity, and outcome quality.
3. Felicitation & Appreciation Ceremony
- All alumni guests felicitated winners with flowers and congratulated them
- Students expressed gratitude for guidance and real-world insights
- The ceremony concluded with motivational remarks encouraging futuristic engineering outlook
Technical Summary:

The Engineers’ Day Celebration 2025 was successfully conducted and achieved its objective of honoring engineering contribution, strengthening tech-based learning, enhancing practical exposure, and motivating students towards innovation and professional growth. The Computer Engineering Department remains dedicated to organizing such impactful and skill-oriented programs in future.
