The IGS Student Chapter is opened at Department of Civil Engineering, Zeal College of Engineering and Research, Pune on 26th Feb. 2022 in the presence of IGS President (Dr. N. K. Samadhiya), IGS Pune Chapter Chairman (Er. Vikas Patil), Executive Members, ZCOER Principal, HoD Civil, Faculty Advisor, Students & Other Participants.
- Objectives: IGS Student Chapter aims to serve as a link between Academicians, Students and Industries for knowledge dissemination in the form of Case studies, Site visits, Student Internships and Placement for the mutual benefit of the society.
- Benefits: Exposure to Industry through various activities that also includes direct interactions with Industry practitioners. It provide platform for future engineers to perform and nurture their presentation, organising, communication skills. It serves as database for the institute or college and improves their recognition.
- Activity to be Conducted: Annual Geofest event, exhibition/working model/poster presentation, expert lecture- Technical/career guidance, site visit and industry exposure, innovation and case study presentation etc.
