Graduates of Engineering Colleges in India are technically brilliant; however, they lack necessary soft skills as highlighted by the corporate world in field of especially in Automobile sector. To remedy this issue, in March 2016, a Zeal Skill Development Centre (ZSDC) was initiated in Zeal College of Engineering and Research.

This center helps students to improve their employability and allow them to excel in their professional careers. And to develop it further we organize “National level Go-Karting championship event- “ZEAL DRAG” from 2017.

The objective of this event is to support the skill India program by Government of India. Participants will be the undergraduate students of engineering college across the country. They have to design and manufacture Go Kart Vehicle which will test their designing and manufacturing capabilities and provide them opportunity to enhance the same. During the competition students will interact with eminent personalities from industries who will judge them on their knowledge and creativity. Student community will be benefited as it will serve as a platform to strengthen their vehicle design and manufacturing domain while studying the course. The entire event is organized at ZCOER campus, Pune. Students of Engineering Institutes will be benefited out of this activity.
