Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA) has organized and celebrated “Engineers Day” in honor of Bharat Ratna Dr. M. Visvesvaraya on 19th Sept. 2016. Prof. H.P. Jagtap and Prof. K.L. Bhoite have coordinated this event with MESA team. The objectives of celebration of Engineer’s Day were
- a) To take a pledge to promote and encourage the youth to select for Engineering education.
- b) To produce quality Engineers for the bright future of our country.
On the occasion of Engineer’s Day Celebrations many Technical and non technical events were organized in the Department of Mechanical Engineering under Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA) in order to inculcate the competitive spirit among the budding engineers.
More than 210 students have participated in the event. These competitions were an open opportunity for all. Students with the remarkable performances were awarded with attractive Cash Prizes.
