Training on ‘Simulation using Simufact’

In a continuous endeavour to impart practical knowledge to the Students of ME (CADME & Design) and Faculties of mechanical Engineering Department, the Department has organised Training on ‘Simulation using Simufact’. The schedule was from 28th to 30th January, 2016.

Simufact Engineering GmbH is a leading global provider of metal-forming simulation software, training, support and services with nearly 650 customers worldwide. Headquartered in Hamburg, Simufact Engineering works collaboratively with companies to deliver open solutions that help them turn more ideas into successful products.

This program was scheduled for Three Days with:

  • Explanation of GUI
  • Process setting up methodology
  • Example of hot forging and cold forming.
  • Demos & Examples

As informed by the students and faculties, who attended this course, it was adding to the knowledge and enabling them to use this software for their further research work.

College had fully sponsored this course for the benefit of the students and the faculty members.
The resource person for the said training was Mr Vikramjeet Singh from M/s Kadkraft, Chandigarh and co-ordinatd by Prof. J . K. Shaikh, PG Coordinator (CADME).
