As per the curriculum of SavitribaiPhule Pune University, it is necessary that student should visit industries/ research institute/ exhibition to get the practical knowledge and ongoing activities in the field of Robotics and Automation Engineering world. On the same note department of Robotics and Automation Engineering Department had organized industrial visit at FlexiMech Automation Engineers, Narhe, Pune on 8th November 2022 to give practical exposure to students about Material Handling System Design, and Hydraulics & Pneumatics which was already part third year academics.

Total 65 students and 2 faculties visited FlexiMech Automation Engineers, Narhe, Pune in two batches at a time and after visiting one industry the batches were swapped. During the visit students and faculties interacted with various workstations in the industry where material handling systems where fabricated and where operating testing were done. Instructors from the industry explained working and operations in automation. Students performed hands on sessions on the different workstations. Along with the operation and designing aspect of the material handling systems the students were given the opportunity to see the functioning and programming the hydraulic and pneumatic systems of various material handling devices.
